Genesis 3:9 - Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?" NASU
Adam and Eve have just sinned by eating the forbidden fruit, they heard God walking in the Garden and they hid themselves from God. (Which is impossible, we can't hide from God).
Would you say: I am in a state of nervousness, I am in a state of constantly worrying about my finances, my children, my job, my health, I am in a state of love, I am in the best place of my life, I am in a state of contentment, or I am so happy with my life. One of the best reasons for us to read our Bibles is we can find a scripture to help us get through any difficult place of life. I want to share a few that may help you if you encounter any of life's dilemmas. Joshua 1:9 - Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Ps 94:19 - When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul. NIV Isa 41:10 - 'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' Matt 6:34 - "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matt 6:34 - "Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes." (from THE MESSAGE: The Bible in Contemporary Language © 2002 by Eugene H. Peterson. All rights reserved.) I hope you enjoy Matthew 6:34 from THE MESSAGE version of the Bible. I really like this part: "...and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow." How many times have we worried about something that never happened?
First, "I am in Christ Jesus, Father." You see this is the most important place for us to be. The way I got there wasn't all that hard either. Romans 6:3 - Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? The way I got into Christ Jesus was being baptized into Him according to the apostle Paul. I believed Jesus was the Christ the only begotten Son of the living God and because I believed that I was a proper candidate to be baptized. So if anyone ever asks me where I am I can say I am in Christ. Second, "I am on the narrow way Lord." - Matt 7:14 - "For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it."
Think About These: The road to heaven is never overcrowded. He who seldom thinks about heaven is not likely to get there. Stay Pumped, Gary A. Serago Minister of God's Word
